The quickening art

Your favourite songs are one of those rare things that can encompass you completely, and that make you exist solely in the moment. A good tune can, in an instant, make you feel better, and give your life a sense of upward trajectory. Is that why the philosopher Emanuel Kant called music ‘the quickening art?’ I’m not sure. But we all instinctively feel that music is a powerful, positive emotional force – a kind of force that can speed up the stimulation we need to create, to build, and to get closer to the true nature of the beings we are meant to be.

You know music is magic.
The question is: do you feel you make enough room for music in your everyday life?
