People stick with their cars longer than with their marriages

An acquaintance of mine bought a brand new car two days ago.
The same person was very disappointed with the delivery process, though.
It was uneventful, to say the very least.

Reality check: nowadays, some people stick with their cars longer than with their marriages.
Why shouldn’t getting the keys to a brand new car have all the excitement of a wedding day?

My 2ยข: Isn’t it ironic that often the companies which spend so much time chasing our attention with expensive full-page ads in magazines, billboards, movie theatres, and even toilet stalls, once they get our money act as if it to say: From now on we’re going to try to deal with you as cheaply as possible regardless of how much money you have spent with us?
