A story about the big yawn, by HP

This past Saturday, Sophie Cousineau wrote a nice article in the Globe and Mail about HP’s current challenges. It was titled Little to laugh about in the movie that is HP, and you can see it here.

I enjoyed the piece not because I wrote about the same issue last week, but because Sophie’s ability to say so much with just one, albeit long :-), sentence. Here it is:

“Trying to convince customers that while none of the HP’s products stand out individually, all of HP’s products put together form an okay solution that is secure and just appealing enough for corporate customers?”

My 2¢: Differentiation is like oxygen—if it’s not there then it’s all people notice.
