How I Built It: HopStop.com

Check out this Wall Street Journal story about how Chinedu Echeruo started HopStop.com to get around New York City — and quickly won fans through word-of-mouth marketing.

My 2¢: It’s true: people choose to become entrepreneurs for many different reasons. In my opinion, most startups grow out of personal projects. Said differently, a lot of entrepreneurs start small, simply hoping to improve the quality of their own life. The question is: how can you accomplish that through a business? By improving the quality of life for others. And how can you generally accomplish that? By making something people want and will pay for. Life is simple: Put Good Karma In Get Good Karma Out.
