Where does time stop for you?

Your parents, folks like them, and older generations, they love living in the so-called real world.

Here’s what I mean by that: Chances are that your parents and folks like them feel most alive when they’re driving their fave car, preparing their fave dish, or really doing their fave you-name-it in the real world.

The real world is the place where time stops for them. The real world is the place where they feel most alive.

Yes, they do have digital outposts.

And, yes, they do spend some time there. Sometimes, like in the case of Facebook, they even visit daily.

But the digital world is not the place where time stops for them.

The digital world is not the place where they feel most alive.

Let’s now talk about you, and folks younger than you.

You mostly live in the digital world.

The digital world is where almost everything important happens for you.

The digital world is where time stops for you.

That does not automatically mean that you don’t like to cook, or walk your dog, and so on.

But if you had a choice, you’d likely choose to do things on your phone or laptop, no?

These two worlds, the real and the digital, are, of course, both real.

They can and do coexist.

So many of us are actually fifty-fifty in each.

But for most of us, more often than not, time truly stops in only one of these two worlds.

If you’re in business, the question is: Where does time stop for your ideal audience?
