How to Improve Sales in a Business

My 2¢: Think of marketing as a cake. Sales are only one ingredient in the marketing cake.

Sales are also much like billiards or pool.
Why? Because in both instances the least reliable approach is the poke-and-hope approach. (You poke your pool cue at that little white ball and hope something goes into pocket.) The pros usually do not rely on the poke-and-hope approach. Instead, they nurture sales through customer touch points.

Looking for big results? See to it that your customer touch points actually touch people.
Because most people want a long-term relationship.
We would like our activities, even the most mundane, to add up to and build a relationship.
