One small tip to get people spreading WOM about you

After I finished reading Contagious: why things catch on by Jonah Berger, I had the pleasure of exchanging a few words with Jonah. There’s no doubt that life’s quite busy for Jonah right now with the release of his new book, but he still graciously agreed to conduct a quick interview for sneezr.ca focused around a single question. Jenan: Can you give us an example of a small but effective tip from your book, Contagious, that a person or business could implement right away in an effort to drive word of mouth?

Jonah:  I’d say one small tip would be to give people a way to look good. Give awards, recognition, or scarce or exclusive information and people will share because it makes them look special. But they’ll also spread word of mouth about you along the way.

Jenan: Thank you, Jonah, and all the best until next time!
