Did Sarah Jessica Parker really say that?
Even if you’re not a fan of the show Sex and the City, you’ve probably heard of it by now. It’s true, since the early 2000s, the Sex and the City has been probably the most-trend setting show for things such as women’s fashion, shoes, etc.
Why am I sharing this with you today (Sep 7, 2011)? Last night, while watching Nightline on ABC, I saw a short segment on the Sex and the City main star—Sarah Jessica Parker. During the said segment, among other things, she said that she drives a minivan and that she loves it.
I was surprised—the words Sarah Jessica Parker and minivan don’t usually go in the same sentence. So how did this happen? According to Sarah, the credit goes to her mom. Here’s a little taste of what Sarah said: “so I called up Bronx Honda, because my mother told me to, and we got ourselves a minivan. I’m telling you, it’s the most wonderful car.” (Her mom even gave her the contact info for the store, the name of the salesperson, etc.)
My 2¢: Is it fair to say that Sarah Jessica Parker drives a minivan because of word of mouth marketing?
