You only need one thing to write well
Pull up a chair please—I’d like to share something with you.
It’s far more important to write well than most people realize.
Why?
Fair question. In short:
a. Because the dominant activity in today’s digitally powered world is reading.
(Offline, online…what line?)
b. To be read.
As for how to write well, here’s the short version:
To write well, you only need one thing.
The words are a given, so we should not really count them.
It makes no difference whether you’re writing a blog post, a book or business correspondence.
To write well, you only need one thing—an interesting perspective.
It’s easy to forget that.
